A few months ago, Dat Money asked the question: "Should You Set Up A Porn Site With Porn Affiliate Links To Make Money Online?
The response was quick and overwhelming. Many commenters were curious as to how to proceed with setting up a porn website, as well as a few were curious about my humble beginnings in adult webmaster industry.
I started out in affiliate marketing back in 1999 when a product named 'Viacreme' was first introduced. At that time, a company called Lexxus International held the exclusive marketing rights and it was being touted as a breakthrough drug.
The doctor who invented it appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show, giving Viacreme extreme promotional legs. As you know, anything or any product that Oprah promotes or discusses on her show becomes an overnight sensation.
The cream was designed for women who had certain illnesses that preventing lubrication and arousal during sex. From what my customers told me, it worked.
So I signed on as a distributor, had a free website, and began making more money than my job was paying me. I placed an ad in a local newspaper, and my phone would not stop ringing! Customers were buying Viacreme by the box load!
I realized that sex really did sell and I figured if I had an additional website (including the free one Viacreme had provided me with), I could cross-market.
Well, that led me to writing short stories for adult webmasters. I have hundreds of stories that I've made even more money from after Viacreme went public (now it is sold under lots of other trade name and Lexxus International no longer exists).
Which brings me to the topic at hand...bloggers are always seeking new ways to make money. A few on Dat Money's site even asked me more than once to reveal my site of where my porn stories lie...
